DATA ACCESS

About Data Access

Below are instructions and conditions for accessing COMSA datasets. Currently, only summary and case level de-identified data are available. It is our intention to update the datasets on a monthly schedule.

Level 1

Data Visualizations

COMSA generates real-time, actionable information that is accessible and useful for a broad range of audiences – from the general public to the public health decision makers in Mozambique.

Level 2

De-Identified Data

A de-identified, standard dataset is available by Registering and Accepting the Data Use Agreement (DUA). A standard dataset includes: Cluster demographics, Household listing, Event records (Pregnancy, Pregnancy Outcome, Death, Verbal and Social Autopsy). To view documentation prior to downloading, visit the Protocols and Tools page to obtain Data Dictionaries and more information on datasets.

LEVELS 3 AND 4

Limited Data Set

These datasets may include dates, case photos, geo-location coordinates, free-text and narrative fields as defined in the COMSA Data Access Plan. To receive this set of restricted data, please email us at siscove.pub@gmail.com and state your affiliation, and the nature of need for this data. Provided you are approved to receive this data, a COMSA staff member will send you further instructions and a Data Use Agreement for your review and signature. The delivery time for this dataset is dependent on DUA execution and institutional approval; and is estimated at 4-8 weeks.
